Blue sky, warm sunshine, up in the high 20's ... just what we need and..violà...its here, and forecasts for the next week or so...
Plenty of trees & shrubs budding, birds singing, buzzards mewing...bees buzzing...lawnmowers mowing...the weather has given us a burst of energy, although we both have bad colds at the moment..so the warmth of the sunshine on our backs was very welcoming..
Today we have attacked the overgrown garden..1st cut of grass this year, (love the smell of newly mown grass) and in our wild garden, it has sprung into life...
Lunch in the garden was so relaxing, we could quite happily have stayed there...but duty calls..

One of our neighbours (in the UK) was cutting grass today. No doubt our grass in France will need cutting, too. Sadly we won't be there until mid April, but hopefully someone will be cutting it for us!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics reminding us of what we are missing, although the weather in the UK has also been beautiful today.
Hi Gaynor, I hope someone is cutting your grass for you..and the sun holds out for your visit x
DeleteI think it will be quite sometime before we see anything so green or so colorful here in the states as you are experiencing. And we are longing for that spring instead of piles of white along the driveways and roads. But spring come -- a post like this gives me hope!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanie....I hope Spring comes soon for you...keep warm x
DeleteIt looks like spring is firmly in place there. I'm hoping for the same here soon, but it won't be rural France.
ReplyDeleteSpring is surely here Paulita, it has been a great start...hope it comes your way soon x
