Lunch at the Argentor in Nanteuil with friends...

Another lovely lunch today at the Argentor in Nanteuil. We met up with some lovely friends who live fairly local to us and have made their life permanently here in France since July and are loving it.....how could you not love France.....especially the lovely Restaurants..

Le Moulin de Verteuil...

We stopped and had a lovely coffee and Moulinoix at Le Moulin de Verteuil, in the lovely village of Verteuil, which has the amazing Chateau, it's a lovely little coffee shop and bread mill. There was a lovely log fire burning keeping you cosy and warm, and the atmosphere with the decor was relaxing, it was a very a charming place. Well worth a visit.

The many faces of Deer...

I have come across these photos taken over the last year. The Deers we have seen have been stunning and beautiful, we never get bored of seeing them, in fact I still get excited when I see them. We have seen many on our walks, mainly Roe Deer & Red Deer, and many with their Fawns. I hope you enjoy seeing these photos as much as we do..

Angoulême Fêtes des Gastronomades.

We have a had a lovely morning this morning in Angoulême, they were holding their 3 day Gastronomades in the City centre.

The ever-popular 3 day food fest runs in November. Not only does the show feature some of the region's top chefs "jousting"alongside cooking demonstrations and workshops, but it is a showcase for the region's many artisanal producers....we were tempted by the many treats on offer..

This is a very pretty time of year, the colours are stunning, warm rich colours. Today on our walk I decided to take photos of what was above me and having the sun as a contrast and backdrop for colours..we had great results.
